A diverse & inclusive workforce

that reflects the communities we serve

At Webster, we believe that a culture of inclusion is critical to our growth, innovation and capabilities as a leading regional bank. We are committed to advancing an inclusive, diverse workplace that promotes strong performance and enables our bankers to be their best in serving our customers and communities. This culture of inclusion is part of our DNA. We celebrate our workforce, where people are recognized for their abilities, have the opportunity to grow & succeed and feel comfortable among their colleagues.

This commitment starts with Webster's senior leadership team, who work to ensure that our commitment to inclusion is integrated with our business strategy. Our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Council is co-chaired by our President and CEO John Ciulla. The Council serves as the platform where senior leaders and representatives of our various employee resource groups shape the strategy and actions of our D&I focus. The Council makes recommendations on ways to integrate D&I principles in the areas of education and awareness, talent development, employee engagement and customer and community service.
